Is Spiritual Work Right for You? Signs, Callings, and Paths to Explore

Some of us are brought to this work because of a traumatic experience or a near-death experience.

Others are learning about mediumship because they have had a significant loss of a loved one.

Many mediums have had experiences since childhood. Typically, those with abilities and experiences from early on in life will see that other family members down the line have also had spiritual gifts.

Others land here because of their curiosity, but then, through exploration, they find a passion within the field.

Whatever has brought you to mediumship, psychic work, or a division of, please honor it. You would only be here if you were meant to be here. There are no coincidences in this life.

As with anything, sometimes we are just meant to learn something from an experience and then move on.

Just because you are on the spiritual path does not mean you will be the next John Edwards or Sylvia Browne. Please don’t take any offense to that; I am not trying to be unkind but realistic.

We learn from our experience; sometimes, we take what we need and then continue on.

In this work, sometimes we start in mediumship and end up in numerology. That is perfectly normal and okay. Continue to honor the journey and process.

Go ahead and explore other topics. Attend many different classes and try things out for size. We don’t know what we don’t know.

However, you will know if something is working for you if people are drawn to your actions and your light. You will know if something is for you if you don’t have to talk yourself into attending the class or circle. If spiritual growth consistently comes to mind, this could be your calling. If the desire to learn more and more excites you, allow yourself to put your time into it.

In this process, spending time on self-reflection and listening to your intuition is essential. We are all equipped with intuitive knowing, and if your gut says something does not feel right here, it may not be suitable for you.
